The Lost Towns Series
Some places stay with us.
The Lost Town Series was inspired by the people, places, and traditions of the Swift River Valley, where farms, villages, railroads, and quiet roads once brought communities together. Though the landscape has changed, the memories remain.
Every blend tells a different chapter of that story while inviting you to reflect on one of your own. Maybe it's a family farm, a favorite fishing hole, mornings at camp, evenings on the porch, or coffee around the kitchen table. These are the places where life's simplest moments became its most lasting memories—shaped by the people who shared them with us.
Coffee has always had a way of bringing people together. It invites us to slow down, share conversation, and appreciate the moments that often become our most treasured memories. Our hope is that every cup encourages you to pause, reconnect with the people and places that have shaped your story, and enjoy the simple moments that make life meaningful.
Because some places are worth remembering.
THE CONNECTOR (Rabbit Run)
Rabbit Run was never a destination. It was the way between — the line that carried the valley’s towns, day after day, through work, weather, and time. Before the towns were separated, they were connected here.
This roast marks the beginning of the journey. It isn’t meant to stand alone, but to lead you forward — from foundation to river, orchard to final silence. Every path through the Lost Towns Series starts here.
Quabbin Stillwater — The Valley Blend
As the waters rose, the valley grew quiet and came to rest held now in still waters.
The Swift River Valley did not vanish when the towns were cleared and the rail line fell silent. It changed. Homes, farms, and roads were removed, and the land was taken for water — rising slowly, deliberately, until the valley settled into stillness.
Quabbin Stillwater reflects what remained after Dana, Enfield, Greenwich, and Prescott were gone. Where Rabbit Run once carried movement and the towns held daily life, Stillwater marks the quiet that followed. It is not a town and not a beginning, but the final form of the valley itself — water over memory, calm over motion.
This blend is crafted for slower moments, when there is no need to press forward. Decaffeinated without losing depth, it offers warmth and presence without urgency. A coffee for evenings, reflection, and the spaces between stories.
If Rabbit Run was the line that carried them all, Stillwater is where everything finally comes to rest.
DRINKING ORDER
The Lost Town Series traces the life of the Swift River Valley from the railroad that connected its towns, to the farms, rivers, orchards, and woods that shaped daily life, and finally to the still waters that remain.
Each blend represents a chapter in that landscape, designed to be experienced as part of a larger story. If you’d like to understand how these coffees connect and how the valley unfolds from movement to rest. Six coffees. One valley. From connection to stillness, the journey unfolds cup by cup.
